VISION

People who work in our community should be able to live in our community. Cypress Place at Royersford will have lower rents that working families can afford, enabling them to live closer to work and have more resources to meet other needs like food, clothing, and transportation.

Public Benefits

Property Taxes

Because the site is currently owned by Royersford Baptist Church, it is now tax exempt. However, that will change during construction when the portion of the site that will be home to Cypress Place at Royersford will be subject to property taxes.

Workforce Housing

Cypress Place at Royersford will enable people who work in the community to live locally in community. Workforce housing provides below market rate rents that working people and families can afford and thereby helps them to stay in the community near their jobs.

Low Impact Development

Cypress Place at Royersford was designed to reduce its impact on the environment and surrounding properties. The building will be situated immediately adjacent to the Church to maximize green space. Greening and energy saving measures were incorporated into the building design to meet LEED Silver standards.
